Veronica Mars住在加利福尼亚的海边一个超富裕的社区小镇Eptune，这里住着百万富翁和为百万富翁工作的人们。当然，Veronica就属于第二类，她的老爹Keith是镇上的sheriff，老美的sheriff 可和警察有点不一样的，虽然都是执法人员，在编制上 sheriff 可谓是“民办” 的。虽然是第二类，但是Veronica在学校还是过的不错，因为她的男友Duncan是镇上亿万富翁的儿子。生活似乎过的不错，但是突然一切都变了，先是男友没有征兆没有理由的和她分了手，然后最好的朋友Lilly——也是前男友的姐姐死了，老爹为了调查谋杀案丢了工作，现在成了私人侦探，老妈也离家出走了，自己的一次聚会上被下了药迷奸了，用Veronica自己的话来说就是Life is a bitch, until you die。生活变了，朋友也变了

《战争与和平》里令我印象最为深刻的一段描写，是有一天晚上皮埃尔去安纳托家里疯玩，他们站在窗台上喝了很多酒，最后拉来一头熊，把它灌醉了。得其精髓的场景在《维罗妮卡》也出现过，应该是谁从体育场看台上跳下来摔破了头。其他的就不一一罗列了。
忽然很怀念打群架，玩世不恭，惹事生非。还有一点值得表扬，这出剧的作者好像没有什么名校情结，名校是那种有钱能去自然不错，没钱就不去了。至于真正的有钱人，像Duncan，像Logan，对所谓的名校，成功，好像一点兴趣都没有，因为他们——不需要对此有兴趣啊。他们真正在意的只有两件事——玩乐和女孩。和他们相比，《绯闻女孩》里的Chuck和Nate，还是过于《新教伦理和资本主义精神》了。
案子方面就不说了，就说说v跟罗根和邓肯之间的爱情关系吧。
第一季前半季主要是放v和邓肯之间的暧昧，后半季罗根寻母开始，基本上爱情戏份的男一号都在罗根这边。（我是支持邓肯的）
第二季本以为v会回心转意重新回到邓肯这里，剧情也是这样放的，可是，大家有没有看到细节处呢？v和邓肯在一起总显得2个人好像不是恋人关系，没有第一季前半段v回忆中那种恋人的关系，感觉演的就让人觉得有生疏，相反和罗根在一起时显得很火热，上来就是热吻，直上2垒，天生一对。
第二季第一集就注定了邓肯的下场。
很多美剧是看观众反应然后在做调整的，其实从第一季后半段，编剧就在刻意抹黑邓肯，比如：那个破了v处的犯人（在得知是邓肯之后好像变得对v不重要了，但观众觉得此人很坏），逃避（大家都不喜欢逃避的男人，确实，但如果你最爱的人是亲妹，还睡了她，你会怎么样？一般照爱情剧的发展都会疯掉）最后，邓肯被一直蒙在谷子里，是v告诉她不是他亲妹的，可后来也没细追缘由,,，第一季就直接结束了，看来这点根本不重了吗?或许说邓肯明不明白根本无足轻重。
其实我希望看到的结局是真相大白，邓肯被蒙在骨子里，最后发现v不是他亲妹，2人冰释前嫌，他们终于又在一起了。
可现在相反，v越来越让我觉得有点浪，难道这就叫做物以类聚？邓肯终究不是和她一类人啊。
